Brian Klingelhutz - Agent
In the spring of 1985, I decided to make the best decision I have ever made (other than marrying my wife). I took my father's seasoned advice and tried my hand at real estate. Fortunately, the glove fit, but selling real estate at 18% interest rates was no easy task. Thankfully, my father and his 35 years of experience encouraged me to preserve and put my farm-learned work ethic to practice once again. In my first year I shocked the Western Suburbs area by selling a multitude of homes and properties to extremely satisfied clients! Since then I have strived to help every client and their families make smart real estate decisions that they are happy with for years to come!
In my spare time, I love getting in touch with nature. As an outdoorsman from Minnesota I like to take advantage of all four seasons! Throughout the year, I can be found enjoying the lake with my family, friends, and two dogs, Stella and Lucky. A few of my favorite hobbies include snowmobiling, mountain biking, and fishing.
My favorite pastime (especially when I am hungry) is to experiment with food dishes. Even though no two dishes have ever been the same, I relish in the fact that I was able to create something new and unique! When I am not cooking up a storm in the kitchen, I can be found enjoying the warm weather on the back of my Harley Davidson. Unfortunately, it is not advisable to drive a Harley during a Minnesota Winter. So, I can be found enjoying the backwoods of the countryside on my snowmobile. During both the summer and winter, I can be found on the lake with a rod and reel in hand accompanied by my two lovable dogs, Stella and Lucky.
After I graduated high school at Chaska High, I went on to attend vocational school at Hennepin County Technical Center where I specialized in Sales and Marketing. After graduation, I went on to gain real world experience in all aspects of sales.
I have been a lifelong resident of Carver County. I was born and raised on a family dairy farm in Chanhassen. I attended both private and public schools till I graduated in 1973. Then, I went to vocational school for sales and marketing. After trying out sales positions in various facets, I met my beautiful wife Ann. Later, after we were married, we built our first home together. This purchase sparked my interest in following my father's footstep towards a career in real estate. Now I have more than 30 years of experience, three healthy children, and two beloved dogs. I could not be happier with my life choices, because everyday I have a chance to make a difference in the lives of my clients.
During my 30 years as a real estate professional I have come to specialize in helping first time homebuyers, real estate investors, and experienced homebuyers sell their homes and purchase new ones. I am also skilled in working with new construction buyers due to my personal connections and broad knowledge of the construction process and its components. I also have a background in land development and locating lots and land that meet client specifications.
As a lifelong resident of Caver Country, I have gotten involved with the community in many ways. I have coached kids' basketball and baseball. I got involved in my parishes activities by becoming an usher and a member of the counsel. I am also a member of the Waconia Lions Club, which specializes in community projects. These projects help raise money to alleviate the needs of our community and build relationships among all members. One of my favorite events each year that I help with is "Take a Kid Fishing." We begin in the morning with doughnuts and juice, and then go out on the boats where we teach kids valuable fishing (and life) skills. Everyone leaves with a bag of cleaned fish, a fishing rod, and a smile on their face!
